About
Career
Born and raised in Skye, Chris’ pursuit of education and work in the media industry firstly took him to Glasgow, before moving to Inverness to take up a role at The Press and Journal in 2018.
After four successful years, twice being crowned Young Journalist of the Year, Chris left to join BBC Scotland, where he is currently a reporter and journalist contributing towards programmes such as Reporting Scotland and Good Morning Scotland.
Personal life
Chris is an outgoing individual with a fun personality. He lives in North Kessock with his fiancé and cocker spaniel dog.
As someone with a keen interest in sports, Chris devotes a fair proportion of his time to taking part and indulging in sport. You will find him most weekends commentating or announcing at matches at the Caledonian Stadium in Inverness, home of Inverness Caley Thistle.
